Based in the city of York, Diamond Bookkeeping was created to provide bookkeeping and accountancy services to small businesses in the area.

Our policy is that the services that we provide should not just cover the statutory obligatons that businesses are faced with, but should keep the proprietors up to date with regards the financial aspects of their business. This can only be done by maintaing acurate records which can be used at any given time to produce a set of management accounts. With our numerous years experience in producing accounts from incomplete records and operating payroll and bookkeeping services for a firm of chartered accountants in the area, we believe we are able to achieve our objective, to maintain accurate records and to produce accurate accounts at an affordable price.

Not all businesses require the skills of an accountant who,  through training and subsequent qualification, is able to charge £50+ per hour. Even a non-qualified assistant is often charged out at £25+ per hour. Obviously a lot of what you are paying for is the overheads associated with running an office (expecially rent and rates). Working from home we don’t have to suffer these overheads so neither do you. As you will be able to see from our rates shown on this site, we believe that our services are very affordable, expecially when you consider the service that you will receive for your money.
